The SMT 500 Low Pressure Leak Tester Smoke Machine can be used to find all kinds of leaks in automotive applications. Utilizing an on-board micro air compressor, the SMT 500 eliminates the need for an external compressed shop air source or inert gas tank during use. The variable flow control and OEM-approved smoke agent can help detect leaks as small as 0.01" in low pressure sealed systems.

The SMT 500 improves the accuracy of repairs and eliminates comebacks by verifying that leaks are repaired accurately the first time. At 11 lbs., the SMT 500 is ultra-portable and lets technicians go where the work is. It's perfect for mobile repairs, testing vehicles in the field, and fleet repairs.

The Bosch SMT 300 LeakTamer II EVAP & Diagnostic Smoke Machine is a full-featured device that allows the shop to perform a wide variety of vehicle leak testing.

Using OEM approved technology, EVAP leak testing is made quick, simple and accurate. The UltraTrace UV® smoke solution used to generate smoke leaves a UV light-traceable mark that pinpoints the source of the vehicle leak. The tester is a mulit-functional device that can be used not only for EVAP testing but also for testing of oil leaks, exhaust leaks, wind leaks, EGR leaks, and many more.

A time saving device when diagnosing problematic issues, the easy to use SMT 300 LeakTamer II features a graduated smoke control valve and flow meter and can be used with shop air or inert gases. The smoke tester is sold with a sturdy case, for portability and safe storage when not in use.

This is an outstanding package value as far as smoke tester kits go. There is nothing currently on the market that matches the SMT 300 on portability, accessories management, and smoke generation.

Kit Includes:

• Storage case for all the accessories that are included.
• The (2) bottles of UltraTrace UV® smoke solution provided with the kit allows you to perform (500) standard, 5 minute test cycles.
• The dual-functioning bright and/or UV flashlight, along with the UV glasses, allows you to quickly pinpoint hard-to-find leaks. The UV trace left by the smoke is easily observed and verifies the problem leak.

6-1/2"-7" length, the Bosch gauge pod lets you add additional gauges to your vehicles a-pillar post quickly and easily for a clear view of engine vital statistics. Gauge pods are made of heat and U/V resistant (will not warp or fade) ABS plastic and are paintable for a custom fit and finish.  Gauge pods fit all Bosch 2" gauges
