The CDR v3.1 Hardware Upgrade Kit includes all newly added cables and adpater available to support version 3.1 CDR software release. This kit provides you with a PCM Interface Adapter and 3 cables needed to download EDR data from select Ford PCMs with Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) on select 2003 and later cars and light trucks. PCM crash data retrieval capability from select Ford PCMs was added in CDR version 3.0 and later software versions.
Note: The PCM Interface Kit requires an updated power supply (F00E900104) and OBDII interface cable (F-00K-108-287) which has been included in CDR Hardware Kits since the release of CDR version 3.0 (late 2007). Be sure to check your current CDR kit components to determine if you need the items required for use with the PCM Interface Kit.
