Premium Crash Data Retrieval System Hardware Kit

When used with a CDR System Software Subscription, the main CDR System Hardware Kit enables you retrieve crash data from supported GM, Ford and Chrysler airbag control modules (ACM) and GM roll-over sensors (ROS).  All necessary cables, adapters and power supply required to access ACM and ROS modules are included with this kit (The Ford PCM Interface Kit is required for retrieval of crash data from Ford Powertrain Control Modules (PCM) and is not Included in the main CDR System Hardware Kit).

Crash Data Retrieval System Hardware Starter Kit

The CDR System Starter Kit is a low cost, entry level kit which includes only components needed to retrieve crash data from ACMs through the DLC connector of 1994 and newer vehicles supported in CDR software version 3.1.

Important: Some 1994-1995 supported GM vehicles require the 02003090 ALDL cable for DLC downloads which is not included in this kit; depending on the condition of the vehicle, crash data may not be accessible through the vehicle's DLC connector; 2008-2009 Chrysler/Dodge mini-van and 2009 Dodge Journey currently do not support crash data downloads through the DLC connector, only direct connection to the ACM using the F-00K-108-385 is supported on these vehicles.

Crash Data Retrieval System Software Subscription

A CDR System Software Subscription is needed to retrieve crash data from GM, Ford and Chrysler airbag control modules, GM roll-over sensors and Ford Powertrain Control Modules (PCM)* using the CDR system hardware kits.  The software is available as either a 1-year or 3-year software subscription.  A subscription purchase will allow you to automatically receive all CDR System Software updates released during your subscription period.

The CDR software will be delivered to you either on a CD ROM or downloadable from the internet**. The software will include an installation program that allows you to install and run the CDR program on one or two PCs.

* Ford PCM hardware kit is not included in the main CDR System Hardware Kit and must be purchased separately.
